The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research(CSIR),National Institute of Oceanography is inviting applications from Indian nationals to fill up the following positions for its headquarter in Goa and three Regional Centers in Mumbai, Kochi and Visakhapatnam.
Vacancy Details:
| Senior Scientist | : PhD on a topic related to Ocean Sciences with minimum 2 years’ post-doctoral research experience in aquatic biogeochemistry / impact of global change on marine environment. |
| Scientist | : PhD on a topic related Ocean Sciences. PhD submitted in Ocean Sciences may also be considered. |
| Junior Engineer | :10+2 with Science subjects followed by 1st class Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering of 3 years full time duration or 2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission after 10+2, if applicable or its equivalent. The diploma course should be from the State Technical Board or Government approved or recognized Institution. |
| Technical Assistant | : First class B.Sc degree in Chemistry with one year full time professional experience in chemical / biological / geological analysis in a recognized research institute/organization. The degree should be from Government approved University / the State Technical Board or from the recognized institution. |

Unreserved and OBC candidates have to draw Demand Draft for Rs.100/- in any nationalized bank. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates category are exempted from submission of application fee.
