Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan(SSA) ASSAM has released notification for the post of  7,042 Assistant teacher for the year 2017 .Interested candidates can apply through online on or before the last date 15.07.2017

Name of the post : Assistant Teachers

No. of vacancies : 7,042

Job location : Assam

Age limit : 18 - 48 yrs

Educational qualification :

  • Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary Level : Candidates should have passed Senior/Higher Secondary ,equivalent with LP-TET/CTET with at least 50% marks OR Graduation from UGC recognized University.
  • Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary Level (Social Science): Candidates should have passed Graduation from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET or Graduation from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET with at least 50% marks.
  • Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary Level (Maths & Science): Candidates should have passed Graduation (B.Sc.) from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET with at least 50% marks.

Selection process : Selection is done on the basis of Personal Interview

Application fee : 

  •  General & OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 200/
  • SC/ST Candidates have to pay Rs. 150/-

Mode of payment : payment has to be made through Indian Postal Order (IPO) in the name of Mission Director, Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission, Kahillpara, Guwahati – 19.
