Indian Navy recruitment - 2017 Officers in executive (GS) and technical branches

Indian Navy has released the notification for the recruitment of Permanent Commission (PC) officers in Executive (GS) branch and Short Service Commission (SSC) officers in Executive and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme (UES), for course commencing June 2018.Interested candidates can apply through online before the last date 31.07.2017 

Details of notification :

Name of the post :

• Permanent Commission Officers in Executive(GS),
• Short Service Commission Officers in Executive,
• Officers in Technical branches

Pay scale :  Rs 72,444 - 81,700 per month.

Educational qualifications :

• Candidates possessed in any stream of BE/ B. Tech from AICTE recognised university with minimum of 60% marks.
• Should have atleast aggregate of 60% in X & XII and Minimum 60% in English in Class XII 

Age limit : Candidates who are applying must be born between 02.07.1994 to 01.07.1997

Selection Process : process of selection is done on the basis of

• 1. Naval Campus Selection Team (NCST) for interview.
• 2. Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. under this three stages are further
• i. Officer Intelligence Rating(OIR), Picture Perception and Discussion Test(PPDT).
• ii. Psychological testing, Group Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview.
• 3. Special Medical Examination
