West Bengal Public Service Commission (PSCWB) has released notification for the post of 254 assistant professor in Degree colleges  in west bengal education service under the department of higher education, science & technology & Biotechnology, Government of west bengal. Interested candidates can apply through online on or before the last date-11.09.2017

Pay scale : 15600 - 39100 + GP 6000

Age limit : Maximium 37 yrs

Educational qualification : Candidates must have a good academic record  atleast with 55% marks at masters degree level the Master’s level and qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET), or an accredited test
(State Level Eligibility Test - SLET / SET), shall remain for the appointment of Assistant Professor.

Selection process : Process of selection is based on screening test and written test

Application fees :

  • General/OBC/UR candidates has to pay Rs.210 through bank challan or through online transactions, credit card, debit card, net banking
  • SC/ST, PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment
