Educational qualification :
- Candidate must have Master Degree in Nursing/B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration or any other Post Basic courses, namely Public Health Nursing Course with two year’s teaching experience.

- Candidate must have Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of a recognised University
- Certificate of having passed the Divisional and Assistant Divisional Officers’ Course of the National Fire Service College, Nagpur, Govt. of India, or Associate Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers, London .
- Five years’ experience in the rank of a Station Officer in an established Fire Service under the Central Government/State Government or local authority. Ability to drive light vehicles and a license for driving.
