SSB - 2017 recruitment - 355 constable(GD) vacancies

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released notification for the recruitment of 355 constables (GD) under sports quota. Interested candidate who want to serve the nation can apply checking the eligibility criteria. candidates can apply through offline mode on or before the last date - 31/07/2017

Name of the post: Constable (General duty GD)

No. of vacancies: 355

Pay scale: 5,200 - 20,200 + 2000 GP

Job location: All over India

Educational qualification:

• Eligible candidates have to pass in Matriculation from a recognised Board/institution.candidates applying under sports quota should have participated in international sports event as a member of Indian squad for 1 year
• , players should have won medal in sports federation/national games/championship recognised by Indian olympic association.

Age limit: Minimum age is 21 and maximum age is 27 years

• SC/ST candidates are relaxable by 10 years
• OBC candidates are relaxable by 8 years
• UR candidates are relaxable by 5 years

Selection process: selection of the candidates is done on the basis of 

• Physical standard test
• Documentation
• Written examination

Application fee: Candidates belonging to General/OBC category should pay Rs.100 IPO/Demand draft/banker cheque. SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from fee payment
