West Bengal Public Service Commission (PSCWB) has published notification for conducting West Bengal Legal Service Examination 2013 for filling 50 vacancies in West Bengal Legal Service on temporary basis.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Degree in Law, Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali, Citizen of India.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.210/- (Rupees Two Hundred Ten) only by Indian Postal Order which must be purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal or by a receipted challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal of the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head "0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees". The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. SC/ST candidates of West Bengal are not required to pay any fee.
Pay Scale:
For Forest Service Rs.15,600-42,000/- + Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.
For Sub-ordinate Forest Service Rs.7,100-37,600/- + Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/- besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.
Age Limit:
Candidates minimum age limit should be 23 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 35 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with .P.O./Treasury Challan, in original, one copy of recent passport size photograph pasted on the application, attested or self-certified photocopies of certificates of age and prescribed educational qualification, caste certificate and two unstamped self-addressed envelopes enclosed in an envelope super scribed with the advertisement no. and name of the examination should reach to the Commission's office at 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata - 700 026 by post (strictly by registered or speed post or U.C.P.) or submit personally in open condition at the enquiry counter of the Commission's office between 11:00 a.m. and 03:30 p.m. on all working days (Saturdays and Sundays are holidays).
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination (Conventional Type-Written) and Personality Test.
